The logistics property consultant Logivest has brokered a sale-and-leaseback transaction in Radolfzell am Bodensee. BCS Automotive Interface Solutions, an automotive supplier specialising in touch control elements, steering column modules and sensors, divested a plot of land measuring over 35,000 square metres at Industriestraße 2-8. The property was acquired by Drei R Immobilien GmbH, which is managed by the Repnik family.
BCS Automotive Interface Solutions exclusively commissioned Logivest with the marketing of the area, which, in addition to the total area of more than 35,000 square metres, also includes approximately 20,000 square metres of warehouse and office space. Through the sale-and-leaseback structure, BCS Automotive Interface Solutions will continue to use parts of the premises and remains anchored long-term at the Radolfzell site, without having to relocate. This approach enables continuous business operations and secures the existing production and administrative structures.
New owner and revitalised use
Drei R Immobilien GmbH was identified as the buyer. The Repnik family has experience in operating commercial parks, including in Gottmadingen, and has a historical connection to the city of Radolfzell. The economic development agency of the city of Radolfzell supports the transaction and emphasises the importance of fostering regional businesses. The property, with its easily divisible area, is suitable for subsequent use by various industrial and commercial enterprises, including medium-sized companies from the region. Drei R Immobilien GmbH plans to revitalise the building as the new owner and further develop it for future users.
The convenient location in the Lake Constance region with direct access to the A 81 motorway towards Stuttgart and its proximity to the Swiss border offers excellent logistical conditions. The handover and occupation of the premises by the new or existing users have already taken place.
