The Logistics Real Estate Initiative (Logix), a leading platform for the logistics and industrial property sector in Germany, has significantly expanded its circle of sponsors. Seven new partners have been acquired: DACHSER, BF.infrafinance, Greenflash, Hagedorn Revital, FOX Real Estate, Energy Partners, and Cushman & Wakefield. These companies represent diverse segments of the real estate and logistics industries, from logistics services and financing to project development and specialised energy and sustainability solutions.

The new sponsors contribute significantly to strengthening the initiative. DACHSER operates globally as a logistics service provider, offering integrated transport logistics and contract logistics. BF.infrafinance specialises in whole-loan financing for project developers in Germany, providing structured institutional debt solutions. Greenflash implements integrated energy systems from planning to operation for industry and logistics with the aim of efficient energy supply. Hagedorn Revital focuses on the revitalisation of brownfield sites into usable building land, thereby contributing to resource conservation.

Furthermore, FOX Real Estate strengthens the spectrum by developing bespoke new builds for logistics, retail, and industry, as well as through revitalisation concepts for existing properties. Energy Partners supports companies in transforming their energy infrastructure to facilitate access to competitive, climate-friendly energy and achieve ESG goals. Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate service provider, advises companies and investors throughout the entire property lifecycle, including transaction advisory, investment services, and asset management. The participation of these companies underscores the shared ambition to actively shape the development of logistics real estate.

Parallel to the expansion of its sponsor base, the Logix Advisory Board is gaining additional expertise. Thomas Burger, Head of Corporate Real Estate at DACHSER, will henceforth serve as an advisory board member. Thomas Burger has been with DACHSER for eleven years and is responsible for managing approximately 350 logistics properties. The advisory board consults the initiative's executive board on strategic and orientation-related matters, as well as on concrete measures and activities. Advisory board members also support the executive board in project implementation, budget planning, and the efficient use of funds provided by sponsors.

The Logix Initiative further expands its position as a central platform for the logistics and industrial property sector through these developments. Dr. Malte-Maria Münchow, spokesperson and executive board member of the Logistics Real Estate Initiative, expressed his delight at the current developments and emphasised that Logix, now with 75 sponsors and an expanded advisory board, is very well-positioned. This enables continued effective representation of industry interests and intensive promotion of exchange within the network. The growing support from various areas of the industry confirms the initiative's relevance. Logix brings different stakeholders together through studies, research projects, and new dialogue formats such as the podcast “nalogix!” to address current developments and key industry topics.
