Matt Ellingson, a residential real estate broker based in Napa, California, is heading sales for the Stanly Ranch Residences Auberge Collection as Senior Sales Director at Sotheby’s International Realty. The site spans more than 712 acres and is considered one of the region's most exclusive five-star residential developments. For Ellingson, who brings more than two decades of experience in the prime market segment, marketing this project marks the high point of his career to date.
The homes on offer in the Vintners Court section range in price from 2.9 million to 6.2 million US dollars. Prospective buyers can choose between villa residences and vineyard estates. The resort's facilities include swimming pool complexes, wellness areas and several high-end dining venues.

Ellingson's scope of activity is not limited to Napa Valley. The broker handles clients and transactions across other key West Coast markets as well as Nevada, including Malibu, San Francisco, San Diego and Las Vegas.
Ellingson's largest transaction by volume to date was representing the buyer in the 10 million US dollar acquisition of an Italian-inspired estate in Napa County. He describes his involvement in marketing the Stanly Ranch Residences as a project close to his heart, given his deep roots in the region and the opportunity to oversee the development from close range.
His business career was shaped above all by his father, who was himself a successful entrepreneur. Alongside his long-standing specialisation in high-end residential real estate, Ellingson's CV also includes unconventional milestones: in his early twenties, he performed as a guitarist in a rock band.
Interest in exclusive properties sometimes develops through unusual avenues. Ellingson recounts a transaction with a couple who became aware of Stanly Ranch via an Instagram post by a celebrity couple. Following an initial phone call, the prospective buyers arrived by private jet two days later and signed the purchase contract immediately after the first viewing.
