Independent music company MNRK Music Group has leased 7,629 square feet of office space in the Rosen family's 443 Park Avenue South office building. This seven-year-and-seven-month lease encompasses the entire ninth floor of the eleven-storey building, as announced by Koeppel Rosen, the letting and management agent for the Rosen family's portfolio.
The building is located at the corner of Park Avenue and East 30th Street, near Manhattan's Murray Hill district. Max Koeppel of Koeppel Rosen handled the deal for the owner. Luke Dillmeier, Patrick Heeg, and Thomas Hines of Transwestern negotiated the transaction on behalf of MNRK Music Group.
Leasing Details and Building Tenants
The rent per square foot was $48, according to a source familiar with the transaction. MNRK Music Group, which manages a portfolio of labels and artists such as Last Gang Records and folk band The Lumineers, previously operated its New York offices from Trump Organization's 40 Wall Street.
The group moved into 443 Park Avenue South in mid-July. It is not yet clear whether this move represents a relocation or an expansion of business activities for MNRK Music. The Midtown South building is home to other prominent tenants such as cloud data company Ardoq, software company LMI, and architectural firm David Smotrich & Partners.
Commercial Presence
The retail section of the building is occupied by a branch of Joe Coffee Company, as well as a store for clothing and footwear retailer Comme Des Garcons.
