It’s Electric, a nationally leading company in roadside electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, announced on Tuesday that New York City has awarded it an exclusive contract for the installation and expansion of a permanent EV charging network across all five boroughs. Brooklyn-based It’s Electric will replace the city’s existing pilot infrastructure and install hundreds of new roadside charging points, beginning in the first half of 2024. This contract has a term of five years and can be extended for an additional five years.
