he second installment of Brattleboro's 2024 real estate and personal property taxes is due by 5 p.m. on November 15. Payments made after this date will incur an additional 1 percent interest on the unpaid balance.
Utility bills are also due by November 15, with a 1 percent interest charge added to late payments. An 8 percent penalty will be applied in addition to the interest for utility bills paid after the deadline.
Payments can be mailed to the Town of Brattleboro at 230 Main Street, Suite 111, or dropped off in a locked drop box behind the Municipal Center. Include your quarterly payment stub to ensure accurate processing. Electronic Bank Checks must be received by the due date; those dated for November 15 but received later will not be considered on time.
Alternatively, residents can pay online using a credit card or debit card through Brattleboro.gov/pay-bills-online, although this service incurs a fee and cannot be done in person or over the phone. In-person payments are accepted at the Treasurer's Office, open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
