Ecore Solutions, a CRMLS data‑licensing arm, withdrew the breach‑of‑contract suit it filed on Oct. 21 against CoStar for $887,500 in unpaid fees accrued over two years. The lawsuit arose from a licensing‑fee dispute that threatened to disrupt the flow of property data to one of the largest real‑estate portals. The company had warned it would sever the Homes.com listing feed on Nov. 1. Within two days, CRMLS announced via email that it had renewed its agreement with CoStar Group, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of CRMLS listings to Homes.com. The email stated the lawsuit would be dismissed with prejudice, precluding re‑filing, though it omitted settlement details. Nicole Aguilar, CRMLS chief marketing officer, confirmed the resolution in separate message. The settlement appears to have satisfied both parties' concerns. No further comments have been issued by MLS. Real Estate News has asked CoStar for comment.
