n East Boston's vibrant Day Square neighborhood, a new 170-unit multifamily development is poised to take shape. The project, dubbed 355 Bennington, will rise from the intersection of Bennington and Bremen Streets, mere steps away from the Wood Island MBTA Blue Line Station.

    A joint venture between 413-419 Bremen Street LLC and Redgate Real Estate Advisors has secured construction financing, clearing the way for this fully permitted project to break ground. The partnership's success is a testament to the collaborative efforts of all parties involved, including Boston City Group, Inc., which played a pivotal role in brokering the deal.

    355 Bennington will be a six-story, 162,296-square-foot residential building, featuring 170 rental units with 14% designated as affordable housing. The development will also boast:

    * 6,985 square feet of ground-floor retail space

    * 81 structured parking spaces for residents

    * Ample bicycle storage and short-term bike racks for visitors

    * A generous 5,800 square feet of publicly accessible private open space

    Strategically situated near the Wood Island MBTA Station and adjacent to the East Boston Greenway, this project aims to enhance pedestrian accessibility and streetscape improvements while contributing to East Boston's growing housing market. Redgate Real Estate Advisors, a seasoned developer with over 3,000 residential units in Greater Boston under its belt, led the permitting process in collaboration with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) and other stakeholders.

    Boston City Group, Inc.'s Caroline Ligotti, Linda Redeker, and Emily McGranaghan, all affiliated with Coldwell Banker Commercial, were instrumental in securing this deal. The firm specializes in multifamily investments, development sites, and commercial assets across Greater Boston, New England, New York, and Washington, D.C.
