ela Rose, the Texas-born fashion designer known for dressing A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Chastain, has put her stunning Tribeca home on the market for $10.75 million. The 6,000-square-foot ground loft-like maisonette is a whimsical reflection of her elegant style and love of entertaining.
The glam space features an untraditional layout, with three skylights and oversize glass windows that flood the interior with natural light. A dog elevator and a glass table that drops from the ceiling with a press of a button are just two of the home's unique features. The "entertaining floor" is 97 feet long and has been used as a fashion runway, dance floor, and even hosts dinner parties for up to 68 guests.
Designed by WorkAC Architects in collaboration with Rose and her financier husband Brandon Jones, the home boasts a private street-level entrance, a living room with 16-foot ceilings, and large storefront windows. The raised bamboo platform features a wet bar, hidden tables that can be tapped to appear on command, and a "restaurant-quality" eat-in chef's kitchen.
The bedrooms deliver plenty of flair, including a massive closet in the primary bedroom suite, which also boasts a spa-like bath, separate home office, and private decked terrace. The lower level features a large playroom, staff quarters, guest suite, and temperature-controlled "tequila tasting room."
This boutique condo is one of just five key-locked units in the building, which dates back to 1865. The listing broker is Richard Orenstein of Brown Harris Stevens.
