he McKinney housing market experienced a significant surge in home sales during November 2024, according to Collin County Area Realtors' latest data. A total of over 260 homes were sold, marking a substantial 43.5% increase from the same period last year.
Breaking down the numbers by ZIP code, the 75071 area saw an impressive 154 homes sold, representing a 60% jump from November 2023. Meanwhile, the median sales price in the 75070 and 75071 areas rose by around 10% compared to the previous year. In contrast, the 75069 and 75072 ZIP code areas witnessed a decline in median sales prices.
Notably, homes on the McKinney market took longer to sell than they did last year. Three out of four ZIP code areas experienced an increase in average days on the market, with the 75069 area seeing a staggering 107% rise from November 2023. Conversely, the 75071 area was the only one to see a decrease, with a 26.2% drop in average days on the market.
