merican Real Estate Partners (AREP) has secured $309m in capital commitments for its fourth fund, AREP Strategic Opportunity Fund IV. The majority of the funds will be invested in expanding PowerHouse, AREP's data centre platform, which accounts for 80% of the allocated capital.

    According to Brian Katz, president and co-founder of AREP, this significant raise marks a major milestone in the company's growth and its ability to lead the market. AREP has deliberately shifted its focus towards sectors driving tomorrow's economy, including digital infrastructure and data centres.
