ImmoScout24, one of the leading platforms in the field of digital property marketplaces, has announced a change in its management. Nicolas Cheron will be appointed to the management board from 1 October 2026. In his new role, he will take responsibility for the Private Business division and, together with Dr. Gesa Crockford, will form the company's leadership.
Cheron has been with ImmoScout24 for over 15 years. During this time, he has significantly shaped the development of the platform in various product and leadership roles. Most recently, as Vice President Product, he was responsible for leading the Professional Business division. His expertise also extends to the consumer segment within the Scout24 Group's digital marketplaces and to the establishment of new, transaction-based business models.
Ralf Weitz, CEO of Scout24 SE, commented on Cheron's appointment. He emphasised that this appointment brings a leader from within the company's own ranks, who possesses a deep understanding of the product, entrepreneurial thinking, and a clear focus on growth. Weitz highlighted that Cheron knows ImmoScout24 from various perspectives and has helped shape the platform's development over many years, expressing his pleasure at Cheron's assumption of this responsibility and the further development of the company.
Change in management
Cheron's appointment is part of a broader restructuring within ImmoScout24's management. Daniel Hendel will depart from the management board. His move to SMG Swiss Marketplace Group is scheduled for 1 February 2027. Ralf Weitz thanked Daniel Hendel for his long-standing commitment and significant contributions to business development. He wished Hendel success in his future endeavours.
These changes signal a strategic realignment in ImmoScout24's leadership, relying on internal expertise to further strengthen its market position and shape future developments in the digital property market. The handover of responsibilities is designed to ensure a smooth transition, maintaining business continuity and the implementation of strategic goals.
