PROXITY, a company specialising in the management and development of logistics real estate, has made a significant step in establishing its pan-European platform. Following the acquisition of the German portfolio at the beginning of the year, PROXITY is now taking over operational responsibility for assets in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. This implementation marks the completion of the first phase of the platform's operational establishment.

The company now manages approximately 300 logistics properties across Europe, comprising a total area of over six million square metres. In addition, PROXITY oversees around 30 development projects with a cumulative volume of more than one million square metres. These projects are being realised both independently and in cooperation with strategic development partners and represent an integral part of PROXITY's growth strategy.

Structure and operational focus

Over the past twelve months, PROXITY has established offices in all core markets and hired over 100 employees to create a fully integrated operational platform. Local teams handle asset management, leasing, and tenant support, ensuring close collaboration with customers and service providers on site. In parallel, European-wide expertise in project development and corporate operations has been built up to create the organisational prerequisites for long-term corporate growth.

Under the leadership of Guido Piñol as Chief Executive Officer, Jonas Kriebel as Chief Financial Officer, and Yvo Postleb as Chief Operating Officer, a management team of approximately 20 experienced executives has been formed. This team covers all essential corporate functions and core markets. Guido Piñol stated that PROXITY has built a pan-European platform with strong local teams in the most important logistics markets in just over a year. He emphasised that the combination of local market expertise and European scale enables comprehensive customer proximity and long-term value creation for existing portfolios and development projects.

Future Strategy and Focus

Following the completion of the operational takeover, PROXITY will focus on further optimising the performance of the existing portfolio and advancing the implementation of the development pipeline. A further focus will be on strengthening relationships with clients and partners at a European level.
