Pure Paws Veterinary Care will relocate its Brooklyn practice to a larger, nearby premises in the Clinton Hill neighbourhood. The veterinary facility has signed a lease for 5,000 square feet at 1 Putnam Avenue, near the intersection of Cambridge Place and Fulton Street.
The lease agreement, finalised on 1st July, is for a ten-year term. The agreed rent is $75 per square foot. News of the deal's completion was first reported by Traded. The owner of the mixed-use building is Abe Betesh.
Gabriel and Solomon Betesh of Momentum Realty Group, a commercial real estate brokerage, negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord. In a joint statement, the brokers expressed their delight at Pure Paws Veterinary establishing itself in the new, larger premises, which will serve the Clinton Hill neighbourhood. They affirmed their belief in the continued growth of the area and their role in strengthening and improving its retail landscape by integrating high-quality businesses into the community.
Richard Bradbury of Babson Real Estate Advisors represented the practice in the lease negotiations. Bradbury told Commercial Observer that Babson was honoured to have represented Pure Paws and that this would enable the company to better serve its loyal and growing client base for years to come.
According to its own statements, Pure Paws Veterinary Care currently operates three locations in New York City. These include addresses in Manhattan's Hell’s Kitchen (506 West 42nd Street), Hudson Square (350 Hudson Street), and Brooklyn's Clinton Hill (944 Fulton Street). The exact timing of the relocation from the current Clinton Hill site, which is less than a block from the future address, is not currently known.
