Silverton Group has expanded its expertise in the investment sector by recruiting two experienced specialists. This strategic personnel development specifically affects the Private Debt and Real Estate Investments & Restructuring segments, thereby enhancing capacities for client support and the development of new financing solutions.
Konstantin Matern has been appointed to the newly created position of Director Investment Private Debt / Real Estate. In this role, he will serve as the central point of contact for existing and potential new clients of the company. Mr. Matern brings several years of experience in Private Real Estate Debt. Before joining Silverton, he worked as an Investment Director at HFS Helvetic Financial Services AG, where he was responsible for structuring and implementing real estate financings. Further professional stations include positions at LENWOOD Capital and LINUS Digital Finance. His academic background comprises a Master of Science in International Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Hochschule der Bayerischen Wirtschaft.
Jascha Hofferbert, Managing Partner at Silverton, commented on the appointment, highlighting that with Konstantin Matern, the company has gained a proven financing expert who will specifically expand its competence in the Private Debt sector. His expertise will support the further development of investment activities and open up additional financing solutions for investors.
Expansion of Real Estate Investments
Concurrently, Silverton has strengthened its Real Estate Investments & Restructuring division. Sven Sivarajah has been appointed Senior Investment Manager to the team and reports directly to Michael Gail, who serves as Director Real Estate & Restructuring and Head of Transactions. Before his role at Silverton, Sven Sivarajah was Associate Director Capital Markets at Knight Frank Germany. There, he was responsible for acquisition and disposal mandates for various client groups, including institutional investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and project developers.
Previously, Mr. Sivarajah was with CBRE Investment Management, where he managed real estate transactions totalling over EUR 1 billion across various asset classes. His academic qualifications include Master's degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island (USA) and in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig. Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
These strategic new appointments underscore Silverton Group's consistent development, aiming to purposefully expand its advisory and transaction capabilities in a dynamic market environment. The combination of this expertise enables more comprehensive support for clients in complex financing and investment projects within the real estate sector.
