BNP Paribas Real Estate is reorganising the leadership of its Advisory segment as part of its pan-European growth strategy. These measures aim to strengthen consulting activities in Europe, optimise cross-border cooperation, and ensure sustainable growth. A key aspect of this development is the impending retirement of Laurent Boucher, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate and head of European Advisory business, as well as CEO of Advisory France, on 31 December 2026, after almost four decades with the company.

Throughout his career, Laurent Boucher played a crucial role in establishing advisory activities in France and their subsequent expansion at a European level. As a member of the Executive Board, he also contributed to the strategic direction of BNP Paribas Real Estate and fostered the company's growth. The Executive Board acknowledged his commitment and contribution to the company's success. To ensure a smooth transition, Laurent Boucher will continue in his roles as CEO of Advisory France and as a member of the Executive Board of BNP Paribas Real Estate until his departure.

New Responsibilities and Strategic Direction

Effective 15 September 2026, Marcus Zorn will be appointed CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory. He will retain his current positions as a member of the Executive Board of BNP Paribas Real Estate and as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany. This appointment is based on the advanced development of a pan-European Advisory platform for BNP Paribas Real Estate's clients. Thanks to his profound knowledge of European markets and his experience in managing one of the continent's largest real estate markets, Marcus Zorn is expected to continue this trajectory by simplifying clients' access to the full range of BNP Paribas Real Estate's services in Europe.

Marcus Zorn stated that the quality of the teams and the comprehensive expertise in Europe provide the company with unique strengths in client management. He sees it as an honour to build upon the work already done. His priority will be to further strengthen synergies between countries and enable clients even more efficient access to BNP Paribas Real Estate's expertise, in order to enhance the performance of their projects.

Continuity in the French Market

Furthermore, Brice de Germay will succeed Laurent Boucher as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France on 1 January 2027. Brice de Germay has served as Deputy CEO of the same unit since January of this year. This appointment ensures first-class client service in the French market. It is based on a deep understanding of real estate issues, as well as the investors and users that make France the company's leading advisory market. Laurent Boucher expressed his great confidence in the future, inspired by the teams' commitment and professionalism. He is convinced that under Brice de Germay's leadership and with the support of all advisory teams, they will continue to benefit from expertise at the highest level.

Jean-Maxime Jouis, CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate, summarised that these leadership changes are fully in line with the ambition to offer increasingly integrated support to clients across Europe. This combines the proximity of local teams, the depth of the service offering, and the strength of the pan-European network. Marcus Zorn and Brice de Germay, with their complementary experience and skills, will play a central role in strengthening the Advisory business.
