The companies Cureus, a portfolio holder specialising in inpatient care properties, and Amando Seniorenresidenzen, a brand of Pflegemotive, celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the planned senior citizens' residence in Gladbeck-Brauck. The ceremony took place in the presence of Dr. Volker Kreuzer, the First Alderman of the City of Gladbeck. Also present were representatives of the construction companies, the administration, as well as the building owner, the operator, and local residents. The event marks significant progress in the construction project, with Cureus acting as the general contractor.
The construction project is located at Horster Straße 216 in Gladbeck-Brauck, North Rhine-Westphalia. Kathrin Ufken, Project Manager at Cureus, expressed satisfaction with the construction progress and highlighted that the shell construction has been completed and the building is already clearly visible. She confirmed the intention to complete the new care facility as scheduled in early 2027 and hand it over to Amando Seniorenresidenzen.

Jacek Michalak, Managing Director of Amando Seniorenresidenzen, underscored the relevance of the project for meeting the increasing demand for care places in Gladbeck and the surrounding area. He emphasised that the new building will create a significant care facility with a "feel-good atmosphere". This will be characterised by high-quality, senior-friendly interior design and exterior architecture, as well as modern living areas that take into account the needs of future residents.
Amando Seniorenresidenzen is pursuing the approach of creating high-quality living spaces and attractive workplaces at this location and in other projects, such as a facility currently under construction in Oberhausen. Modern equipment and digital solutions are being used in this endeavour. Exclusive tours for initial applicants have already taken place for the over 100 new jobs being created in Gladbeck-Brauck.
