Ampega Investment GmbH, a company of the Talanx Group, has entered into a cooperation with Hauck & Aufhäuser Fund Services S.A. (HAFS). The aim of this collaboration is Ampega's market entry in the field of active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). HAFS, a capital management company of the ABN AMRO Group, takes on the role of service provider for the new fund offering.
This strategic step allows Ampega to expand its product portfolio with a dynamic investment instrument. Active ETFs offer investors the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of a fund manager, while simultaneously utilising the advantages of stock exchange listing and thus daily tradability.
Division of Roles and Market Outlook
In the agreed partnership, Ampega acts as the initiator and investment advisor for the new fund. HAFS provides comprehensive services as a capital management company, which includes fund launching and administrative support. This division of responsibilities underscores the specialisation of both companies in the financial sector.
The market for active ETFs is experiencing international growth and is also gaining importance in Europe. By jointly launching this first active ETF, Ampega and HAFS are positioning themselves in a segment that is of interest to both institutional and private investors. With this initiative, the Talanx Group, to which Ampega belongs, underlines its strategic direction in asset management.
The cooperation leverages the respective core competencies of the partners to establish a transparent and efficient investment product on the market. This forms a basis for possible further developments in the area of active, exchange-traded funds.
