The real estate advisory company Colliers is expanding its capacities in the residential real estate market at its Munich location. Effective January 2027, Bastian Zägelein will assume the position of Head of Capital Markets Residential & Land for the Bavaria region. This personnel decision underscores the company's strategic alignment to intensify the residential property investment segment in one of Germany's key markets.
Bastian Zägelein brings profound expertise to his new role. As a proven real estate economist, he has over 13 years of professional experience in the real estate sector. During this time, he was significantly involved in national and international real estate transactions, with a cumulative volume of approximately EUR 1 billion. His professional focus lies in transaction management, structuring, and the execution of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Experience and Future Responsibilities
Prior to joining Colliers, Mr Zägelein was responsible for transaction management at Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate as its head. This previous role highlights his comprehensive knowledge in managing and executing complex real estate deals. At Colliers, he will purposefully drive the development of the residential business in Bavaria and further solidify the company's market position in this segment.
