The project developer DIE WOHNKOMPANIE Nord has announced the completion of Construction Phase 4, named 'UP TOWN Living', within the NEUE MEILE project in Lübeck. This milestone concerns the development on the former St. Lorenz freight yard site. The handover of the 53 privately financed rental flats to a German Family Office as investor has taken place; these units are already fully let. Similarly, the adjacent freehold flats have been handed over to their purchasers, with initial occupancies already having occurred.
The now completed construction phase comprises a total of 75 flats and 10 townhouses. Of these, 53 residential units and 5 townhouses fall into the rental segment. The remaining 22 flats and 5 townhouses were offered for purchase. The range of living spaces varies between approximately 43 square metres and 131 square metres, with a room layout of two to five rooms. The amenities include balconies, terraces, or roof terraces depending on the floor plan.
The townhouses each feature a living area of around 129 square metres, divided into five rooms, complemented by a garden and a roof terrace. The residential offering is rounded off by underground parking spaces for residents. All residential units comply with the KfW-55 energy standard.
Marketing and Outlook
The marketing of the rental and freehold flats was handled by the team at Klinke Immobilien GmbH. The five townhouses designated for purchase are currently being offered by Grossmann und Berger GmbH. Nicole Müller, Managing Director of DIE WOHNKOMPANIE Nord GmbH, commented on the project development, emphasising the significance of transforming plans into built reality as a key impetus for future project work.
This completion underlines the ongoing development of the NEUE MEILE area and contributes to the creation of housing in Lübeck that addresses diverse residential needs. The swift and full letting of the privately financed rental flats, as well as the occupancy of the freehold flats, demonstrate the market acceptance of the project at this location.
