The renowned Sichuan and Dim Sum restaurant Breeze is set to open a second branch in Brooklyn. The restaurant, also known for its carefully curated wine and cocktail programme, has signed a 15-year lease for 3,569 square feet (approx. 331.6 square metres) on the ground floor of the Gotham Organisation's 52-storey residential building with 586 residential units at 590 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. This was announced by broker Lee & Associates NYC.
The new space comprises 2,790 square feet (approx. 259.2 square metres) on the ground floor and an additional 779 square feet (approx. 72.4 square metres) on the lower level of the property. The exact rent was not publicly disclosed. According to the Real Estate Board of New York's latest retail report, the average asking rent for retail spaces along Fulton Street in Brooklyn in 2025 was 190 dollars per square foot.
Strategic Expansion in Brooklyn
Brad Schwarz and Zev Sonkin of Lee & Associates NYC acted for both the tenant and the landlord in this transaction. Breeze already operates another branch in Brooklyn, located at 595 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint.
