JP Immobilien consolidates its position in Vienna's historic apartment building segment with another acquisition in Vienna-Wieden. This strategy aims at acquiring and carefully developing high-quality existing properties in attractive inner-city locations to increase their value in the long term.

The newly acquired historic apartment building in Vienna's 4th district had been in private ownership for several decades. It presents itself in very good overall condition and comprises a total usable area of approximately 2,800 square metres. The property includes 30 existing units and two garage parking spaces.

Development Concept Preserving Substance

JP Immobilien's approach focuses on preserving the existing building substance while simultaneously undertaking targeted modernisation. The primary goal is to maintain the original character of the house and to successively and sustainably improve the residential standard. Vacant units are gradually adapted to JP Immobilien's internal quality standards, a concept that has already proven successful in comparable projects.

Reza Akhavan, owner and managing partner of JP Immobilien, commented on the current market situation. He emphasised that the current market phase offers opportunities for long-term oriented investors. Akhavan expressed his conviction that high-quality historic apartment buildings in Vienna would continue to be among the most relevant real estate investments in the future. The company therefore intends to expand its acquisition activities and specifically acquire properties that can experience a long-term increase in value through active asset management and renovation measures.

This transaction underscores JP Immobilien's ongoing strategy to invest in the Viennese historic apartment building market and contribute to the quality of inner-city living space through value-preserving and value-enhancing development of properties.
