Seward & Kissel, a law firm specialising in financial services, has decided to retain its location in New York City's Financial District. The firm renewed its lease for 171,112 square feet of office space for an eleven-year term. This was done in cooperation with Rudin Management and Allianz Real Estate at One Battery Park Plaza. This information was taken from CBRE's office report for the third quarter of 2026.
The exact rent amount was not disclosed. However, the average asking rent for office space in Lower Manhattan in the third quarter was reported to be $62.40 per square foot. Negotiations were led by an experienced team: Kevin Daly and Craig Panzirer represented Rudin internally, while Lewis Miller, Andrew Sussman, Cara Chayet and Scott Sloves from CBRE negotiated on behalf of Seward & Kissel.
