Meridius Capital, an investment and asset manager based in Frankfurt, recently completed an acquisition for a family office from Saarland. The transaction included the acquisition of a car dealership and a separate workshop and warehouse property. Both properties are located in Saarland and are characterised by a long-term lease to a tenant with strong creditworthiness.
The total rental area of the two properties is approximately 8,000 square metres. This extends over a total plot area of around 28,000 square metres. Colliers facilitated the transaction, advising the seller throughout the process.
Background to the acquisition
Christian Busse, Associate Director Industrial & Logistics Investment at Colliers in Frankfurt, emphasised the specific characteristics of the acquired properties. He explained that the properties stand out particularly due to their quality, attractive locations, and secure long-term lease agreements. These criteria form a solid basis for a sustainable investment in the existing property segment.
The acquired properties represent a strategic addition to the portfolio of the family office, which pursues a stable and long-term oriented investment strategy. The stability of the tenant relationship and the substantial floor areas contribute to the value stability of the acquisition.
