LL's Capital Markets group has finalized the sale and financing of an eight-property seniors housing portfolio spanning 1,186 units across four major metropolitan areas in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The portfolio was sold to funds managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing.
The seller, a joint venture between Harrison Street and Brightview Senior Living, was represented by JLL's Seniors Housing Capital Markets team. As part of the deal, Brightview will continue to operate the communities and retain an ownership stake in the portfolio alongside MSREI.
JLL also secured an acquisition loan for the buyer through Freddie Mac. The eight properties, located in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Boston-Providence metropolitan areas, are primarily independent living facilities with a strong track record of operational performance. They feature amenities such as restaurant-style dining, game rooms, libraries, and fitness centers.
