he most expensive condo rental in Miami-Dade County since 2021 is a six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom unit at 3315 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, which is currently being rented out for $135,000 a month. This unit is located in the luxurious Faena House, which has been quite active in the high-end market. The lease for this unit is tied for the second priciest annual condo rental deal ever inked in the county, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

    Darin Tansey, a Douglas Elliman agent who represented the landlord, mentioned that the high-end market has been active. Tansey had previously listed penthouse A in Faena House for sale, asking for $33 million or $5,156 per square foot. The owner of the penthouse is a Delaware LLC, which paid $29 million for the unit in late 2015. The condo is currently being rented out for $1.6 million per year.

    Despite the high rental cost, there has been significant interest in this condo. Tansey mentioned receiving regular calls from outside brokers asking if the owner would ever consider renting it out. He also mentioned receiving inquiries from two additional people interested in renting the condo.

    Tansey is currently working on two other rentals at Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach. One of these units would be available for $55,000 a month, while the other would be available for $85,000 a month.

    In Miami Beach, waterfront single-family homes on the market for rent can go up to $300,000 a month. However, condos are typically less pricey. The most expensive condo rental currently available in Miami Beach is the penthouse at Icon South Beach, located at 450 Alton Road. This seven-bedroom unit spans 9,039 square feet and is asking for a monthly rent of $210,000. The top 10 listings bottom out at $61,000 per month.
