Real Estate Student Earns Prestigious Eisenberg Scholarship

Matt Waters, a junior double major in commercial real estate and commercial banking, is named an Eisenberg Real Estate Scholar.

att Waters, a junior majoring in commercial real estate and banking at the College of Business Administration, has been chosen as an Eisenberg Real Estate Scholar. This prestigious program selects six students from across the country to receive mentorship, career guidance, and a scholarship. Waters was thrilled to be selected among candidates from 18 universities nationwide, saying he's excited for "big things ahead" and believes the program will significantly advance his career.

    Waters' academic excellence has earned him recognition from the Vieth Institute for Real Estate Leadership, which praised him as an exceptional student who embodies high performance and ethical practice. In addition to his studies, Waters works at Mandel Group, a luxury multifamily development company in Milwaukee, and is involved with the Commercial Real Estate Club and Knights of Columbus.

    The Harold E. Eisenberg Real Estate Scholar Program was launched in 2015 to support students in enhancing their skills and networking within commercial real estate. Scholars will attend Eisenberg Foundation events and the International Council of Shopping Centers contest in Las Vegas this May, providing valuable opportunities for professional growth.
