Fashion chain Zara is significantly increasing its presence in a shopping centre in Southern California. The clothing company is expanding its footprint from 22,000 square feet to a 45,000 square foot flagship store, which is scheduled to open in 2027 at Macerich's 1.3 million square foot Los Cerritos Center in southeastern Los Angeles County. The existing Zara store will remain open during the construction phase.
The property is located at 239 Los Cerritos Center, near the border between L.A. and Orange Counties. Key tenants at the centre include established brands such as Apple, Nordstrom, MAC, Lululemon and Harkins Theatres.
Dynamic development in tenant portfolio
Zara's expansion is part of a wave of new leases at the shopping centre. These new settlements underline the location's attractiveness for renowned retailers. The Los Cerritos Center is experiencing continuous development of its tenant portfolio.
